What a day!!!!!

It's almost 9:10 and my son's therapist was to be here at 9am but it has been snowing good for a couple of hours now and still is...I wonder will she call me?
The weather looks awful outside but I listened to weather and news this morning and did not hear of any school bus cancellations....
I have to go in to work at 1:30 this afternoon...Hope it doesn't do this all day!!!!
So, what is weather like where you are today?
Do you have to go out or are you able to stay in today?
What are your plans for the day if any...It looks like I may have to look after my son this morning and no therapy.....So what about you?

Hi heavenschild I hope your day gets better. For me the sun is shining but its not staying out. Keeps getting cloudy too. The past couple of days here its been really cold. We are suppose to get some flurries today. I have to do a couple of errands today. No biggy. You stay safe too!Hugs!

Hi Terry! My son's therapist did arrive about twenty minutes late and so she is here now with my son....I should be able to some dishes and cleaning that I was planning on now that she is here! :)
I'm not sure how I'm getting to work this afternoon but hopefully I can get there and back home tonight safely!

Even with all the frigid temps we've had here in Minnesobrrrr it has stayed mostly sunny. Its hard driving with the sun glaring off the snow also. Worse than a sunny summer day actually.

So everythings up in the air huh - sorry sweety I know how rotten that is! It is very grey, cold and wet here today I think its about -2 and it is the middle of the afternoon! I have to go to my eldests school parents nights to find out how he is doing - 9 teachers to see in 2 hours and all on different floors of the school! Luckily the school has a lift for students and teachers with disabilities, broken bones etc so we get the key to that , I would never manage otherwise.
In fact I have to leave in an hour so wish me luck! xxxx

I do wish you the best of luck and am so glad to see on here again my friend as I have missed you greatly! :)
As for my son's therapist, she arrived here twenty minutes late due to the weather and is with him now so I am able to get some things accomplished here this morning...I just hope I can get to work this afternoon and back home safely tonight as I work from 1:30 - 8 today!

Thanks mummymo but I won't be driving....I think we have decided that I will be taking a cab today as normally my husband would drive me but he just home from work and to take our son out in this just isn't worth it!!
I shall let you know that I got home safely tonight! :)

Thanks sweetheart it is great to be back and I am starting to settle in - I have loads od discussions to respond to! lol I will be thinking of you going to work and coming back although I can't remember the time difference! Well I wish we had Snow lol all we are getting here is strong Winds horrible Rain and cold
I love Snow but we never get it I wish we would

Yes, always when we have things planned there is a storm or something to hold us behind schedule! Just as happened to me today with the late Therapist for my son...I still have dishes that need to be washed! Ah well...
I'm with you in the hopes for early Spring! :)

We are having a heat wave here in Minnesota today. It will be in the double digits for a high temp. I think they said 14 for a high. HAHAHA! But then again comes tomorrow we get a small frigid front again getting to 15 below zero. But this weekend it's going to be above normal temps with highs nearing the freexing mark of 32 degrees.

It's just really cold here today. I get to stay at home so thank goodness I don't have to go out in it. I hate cold weather.

It was super cold here today too but thankfully sunny :)
Unfortunately I did have to take a bus in order to get to work today as my husband had to pick up our son from school so yes, it was very cold!

hello heaven, wish you all have a great day everyday not just this day, mine is fine it little bit cold the weather but stay at home for a whole day, its ok for me because 2 days before we are in shopping with friends so this day will be home with my lovely daughter.

Hi heavenschild,
Of course I know you're at work as I write this, and I hope you've had a good day. I think you already know what my weather's like here!;) Actually I've been out for the last three days in a row, which is a record for me lately, due to my health concerns. Today, I'm happy to be staying put. My 'little girl' is being dropped off, either by her mom, or a neighbour. My daughter has a rehearsal until 6:00 tonight, for musical, and then 'I hope' I'll have pick up of 'K' on time, so that we can have dinner together, and spend the evening. Her semester's over today, and the new one starts a week from Thursday. She does have a couple of exams this week, but has tomorrow off, so is going to the mall ... just to catch you up.;) xxx

Thanks so much for the update here...You know I always am appreciative of anything you contribute to my discussions....
Thankfully my son's therapist made it here today and I ended up taking the cab to work for the safety of my husband and my son.
I was going to ring you today but due to the lateness of my son's therapist and my taking the cab to work (Early) I was unable to! I too must go to the mall tomorrow to get some items for my son's therapy sessions and then must bus to work as my husband will be picking up our son from school....I shall try to ring you on Thursday morning!

Well I am glad to see that the therapist showed up and you were able to get soemthing done. I didn't have to go anywhere, but my son had school, but they had no delays today because we only had a little dusting of snow..It is much warmer than it was 2 days ago, it is now in the lower thirties, where as Sunday it was in the single digits, so heat wave, yay..lol
