Would pizza be as popular if it wasn't delivered?

Think about it... what is the most common reason people decide to get pizza for dinner? Because it delivers, right? Convenience, right? So where would pizza stand in popularity if you had to drive to get it every time you wanted it, like you have to if you want McDonalds or Wendys? How would non-delivery effect the pizza industry? Thoughts?

I love pizza but I don't think it would be as popular if it weren't delivery. One of our local pizza places stopped delivering outside of a 10 mile radius from their store and I stopped getting pizza from there b/c I don't want to have to drive there to get it.
