Do you think the Oscars should go on despite the writer's strike?

Personally, I think they shouldn't, but I'll admit I'm kind of curious to see if they turn out to be as big a trainwreck as the Golden Globe's "press conference". I'm in full support of the writers and believe that if the screen actor's guild stands united with them and boycotts the Oscar's they may finally get the AMPTP to negotiate a fair deal with the writer's guild.

I think this time the Oscars can't go on because of the writter's strike. As long as the strike is available, it's hard to have a successful event. What a bad news.
