What is your favorite nice restaurant?

My husband and I have an anniversary coming up and I want to take him out to dinner but, I don't want to take him to the same old place. I thought we could try something different.
I love Olive Garden and Carabas Italian Grill. Olive Garden for their breadsticks and salad and Carabas for the calamari. I have never had calamari as good as Carabas makes it. They have a pretty good steak too.
Suggestions?

I do not know where you are but here are some suggestions. My favorite steak is at Stoney River, the steak literally melts in my mouth and they have these great poppy sed rolls that they give you that are to die for. If they are not in your area try Ruth Chris they are great for steak too. For italian try Maggiano's very reasonably price and their calamari is good too.

I know there is a Ruth's Chris about 50 miles from here. I don't know about the other two ( I don't get out much. LOL). I'll look them up on the internet and see. Thanks for the suggestions.

I love to eat at Red Lobster or Joe's Crab shack. I guess I am just a shrimp fanatic.

I love Joe's Crab shack! I guess, I could take him there. I don't really like Red Lobster except for the bisquits and I make those here at home all the time so, they aren't really all that special.

Olive Garden is a nice restaurant and good choice. My favorite is Black Angus when I'm looking for a steak. What type of food are you looking to eat?

I love Olive Garden but, I wanted to try some place different. We get Olive Garden gift certificates when we donate blood so, we go there when we dine out. I was kinda hoping for a place that serves steak and seafood. Does Black Angus have good seafood?

My favourite is Montana's. I love their barbeque ribs. I could eat them every day. They are so good and nobody else makes them as good as they do. I try to make them the same way but they never taste as good as Montanas. They aren't too expensive either. The price of a full rack dinner is only $15.95 so we do go often. I have gone to a Montana's in Calgary and I have gone to one here in Winnipeg and they are both excellent. So it has to be the way they cook them.
