If men carried children instead of women, what would be different?

I posted an abortion question earlier and someone commented about how things would be looked at differently if it were men that carried children instead of women. She was very likely 100% correct on this, but it got me to thinking. What else would be different if it were men that carried children instead of women? Would we live in an amazonian society where women were the primary bread winners? Would men be the ones who cried at the emotional films and wore pink?
How do YOU think it would change the dynamic of the world we live in?

OMG Can you imagine if it was left to the male population to procreate! The population would suffer and we would have the opposite affect to the world's population that we are having now! Child rate would be down 100% and it would be like that film Children of Men with Michael Caine! The world would become a much peaceful place and if women were to take the roles that men take in government and society what a blessed place this world would be. Maybe when whoever created this world starts again he may take this into consideration. Let man give birth, mind you the human race wouldn't last long LOL! Thanks for the discussion my friend

You know, it's almost too bad we couldn't switch things up for a while, isn't it?
Thanks Wolfie!

This is one of the most interesting discussions I've seen yet! If men carried the children instead of women, obviously their anatomy would be different. The chemistry between men and women would also be different. In today's society, men or women can be the ones to initiate a relationship with the other. In the past, men were usually the ones to "chase" the women. If men carried the children, I think the women would instead chase the men. Since it all goes along with the package, men would be the cranky and emotional ones. I'd love for some guys I know to experience the lovely things we women go through for about a year to see what it's all about. I've heard that a man having a kidney stone would be about the same or more painful than a woman giving birth. I'm not sure how true that is since I've never experienced either. I think all men should know what it feels like to be a woman for at least a year, which would include about 2 or 3 months of normal activity and then 9 months of carrying a baby. (LOL!) Awesome discussion.

the population would not get big as we have right now... men would be busy looking after their children, or only child! lol

lol, well, first off, most families would only have one child, if any. LOL I know that my husband (who is a big baby himself) would never have had a second child, that is for sure!!! I suppose they would be the ones considered "hormonal and irrational" instead of the women!!!

Well, that is really interesting. I think the biggest difference is that men will not have to work but the women! LOL.
Abortion is definitely a bit cruel for women, because men do no carry babies so it makes it easy for them to make easy desicions.
