Do you believe that people are as honest as they portray themselves to be?

Most people are not honest even if they portray themselves to be. But I believe that there are still people who are really honest. Being honest keeps you through in the long run. If you will be dishonest, soon you will be found out and the damage will be more than you can bear. As much as possible, let's endeavor to be honest because it's the right thing to do!

Hi danzer - I think you are a very admirable person. However, I believe that most people want to be honest but find their truth to be somewhat on the down side compared to the flambouant lie that they can create in their heads. On that same note - I believe that most people feel they can get away with it, OR they don't believe the consequences of getting caught in a lie is so bad.

No. I could not believe that the people are as honest as they portray them-selves. I believe that honest people do not like to expose their honesty. It is work of others to justify that the people are honest or they are not honest. Honesty could be judged very easily and there is not need to portray it.
