This has been very heartbreaking for me and very confusing.
My son-in-law recently lost his Grandmother and had gone to the funeral. While there, he was visiting an Uncle he had not seen for sometime. His Uncle was a Professor in Physics and began to tell my son-in-law that he had been forced into retirement due to 9/11.
He and a few of his colleagues had decided to explore and analize how the airplane crashes could bring down the Twin Towers in the way that they had. They discovered that it was impossible for those aircrafts to create such a distruction. They apparently discovered that it would have taken explosives to do that type of damage.
Now, I spend most of my time searching the Internet for personal business use and consider myself very skilled at finding truthful information. I searched the Internet about 9/11. I found several articles: "The truth about 9/11." It broke my heart to see "Names" that I recognize as very important people who would have access to such knowledge.
The worse thing for me about all of this: When 9/11 happened, I was in college and had not listened to the radio on the way, by the time I had got there my friend's in my class were trying to get the news up on our computers and began telling me what happened. When they said that the "Pentagon" had been hit also, I was dumb-founded! I am a "military brat" and can tell you that the "Pentagon" is "Guarded" air-space. I have never understood how an aircraft could have even gotten close to Pentagon.
If your are interested in the truth about 9/11 and want to read it for yourself. Search "The truth about 9/11", you will find many websites about it.
Thanks for letting me share.

I lived really close to the field where the plane went down in PA. At the time 9/11 was happening I lived on Ft Meade in MD which is where NSA is. Thed locked down the whole post.
The interesting thing I find now that I have moved back to PA is the stories from locals who were out and about when the plane went down in Shankesville. Ask any number of them and they will all tell you there was more than one plane in the sky over that field that day.
While I appreciate every thing the government lies about to try to protect the american people I still think it is all part of some grander conspiracy.

There was no debris or deceased individuals as there was a tremendous explosion and a huge fireball that incenerated everything. The plane drove straight into the ground which left everyone onboard incenerated due to the heat and flames.

I'm really glad you brought this discussion to the surface. I've heard a lot about 9/11 also, and I completely agree with you. Airplanes alone could not bring down those buildings. I believe there were explosives also even though prior terrorist attacks to plant bombs in the buildings and explode them hadn't worked before. There was mmore this time. I haven't read the article you mentioned yet, but I'm very interested. I would like to also support what you're saying. I heard that there was a tower nearby the Trade Center Towers that was rigged and ready to go to demolition. They had already planted explosives in that building to demolish it when they received the go-ahead. On the morning of 9/11, that other tower was ready to go so when they saw the towers go down, they exploded the third building, (which ironically went down in the same manner, by the way) and blamed it on what happened to the other two towers. Interesting, isn't it? All of the factors that came together to produce 9/11 (includign the Pentagon attack) lead me to believe that we may not be looking at a terrorist attack so much as something internal. I don't know how true it is, but it's entirely possible. I will definitely be looking into this. Thank you for the reference. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate you wanting to learn more about the event. I heard a little more information than what I included in my earlier response. You may find the additional comments interesting. I'm not sure how true it is, but I also heard that a few days prior to 9/11, some members of the U.S. military surrounded a mold of a crashed plane outside the Pentagon, kind of like they were going through a drill of the real thing that was going to happen in a few days. That definitely puts a whole new spin on things. I believe this still could've been a terrorist attack; however, it could also have been an attack from inside the U.S. How crazy would that be? I don't think we'll ever completely know all the details, but it's interesting to learn new things about it now several years later. I'd love for someone to get to the bottom of this someday!

There are a lot of conspiracy theorists out there, and they have a ton of reasons to support their claims that Bush was behind the whole thing, which when you really think about it is absurd. Please read this article from Popular Mechanics in 2005, you will find all the "theories" debunked.

the history channel did a show on this study. It debunked every conspiracy theory out there however people still claim conspiracy. It is fascinating how people are drawn to conspiracies even after they have been shot down by experts. Its like people think they know more about building failures then structual engineers

You're right, it doesn't matter how much hard evidence can be proven refuting the conspiracy theories, there are some that will still believe.

This "conspiracy" must wait to be illuminated properly, but.....Facts are coming to light and we should demand to have relevant information released for proper evaluation. Currently any attempt to fill in the missing elements is met with an FBI cover-up and declarations of National Security which assert that even Congress and The Chairman do not have high enough security!! The Justice Dept has upheld that position.
Sibel Edmonds has testimony relevant to The 9/11 Commission which she has been gagged from having debated or in any way scrutinised.
There is much to be concerned about, that is more urgent than the current election sham.

"National security" claims are a poor substitute for simple truth.

You guys should watch the video "Loose Change". It's all about the conspiracy theory on the 9/11 attacks. They have some pretty valid arguments there. There have been planes that crashed into buildings before, causing fires that burned much longer than the one on 9/11, and those buildings didn't collapse. And those buildings were much older than the WTC Towers.
Take a look at the hole in the Pentagon that was created by the "airplane" that "crashed" into it. It's so small! No traces of the wings or the engines!
And what about the black boxes? Have they been discovered? If so, where is it and why haven't they been released to the public?
How come Osama Bin Laden hasn't been arrested all these years? Why did George Bush prioritize Saddam Hussein when he had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks? Heck, he didn't even have "weapons of mass destruction"!
Your son-in-law's uncle is lucky he wasn't killed.
I'll try to read that "Truth about 9/11" article when I have time.

Thank you for responding and you have raised even more questions then I could of and I agree with everything you commented on. I have read several articles where Bush and Cheney are blocking any investigation, even when the families of those lost in 9/11 have repeatedly asked for one. Wonder why we can't investigate it?
I hope you add more information as you find it. Thanks again,

Thank you for commenting. I would agree about the aircraft being able to take down the towers. However, my son-in-law is in construction and told me if they built them with the core columns which were designed to withstand the impact of a boeing 707, then the buildings should not have crumbled they way they did.
Check this website out and see what is said about the design of the Twin Towers. http://ae911truth.org/twintowers.php
Thanks again,
