Have you ever witness a violent crime?

I have been the victim of a violent crime twice in my life. The first being a rape, the second was four years with an abusive partner. I then got into another relationship, with my child's REAL father, or as I call him, the sperm donor...lol...and when I was 5 months pregnant he beat me severely in a public place....I was hospitalized and he was put in jail, and eventually went to prison for a parole violation.
