I can't live without my cell phone because
i do text alot - to my friends and family.
it's not easy to call here in philippines
because the rate can be expensive. so
that's why they have offers to use to
text unlimited depending how much to
buy and use. do you?

I just upgraded to a Lingo with a full keyboard and I love it for texting. I have unlimited in and out text and I really think the company is going to lose money on that deal lol. I have unlimted SMS, MMS, text, pics, calls and long distance for $50.00 a month. Like I said, this company has to be losing money on me every month!

i'm from the philippines, too. i hardly call because sms is much cheaper. i only make a call when it's highly important. i load the P300-call card coz it's hard for me to use it up in 60 days hehehe...if i am going to use the unlitxt, it's going to cost me more because its validity is only 24 hrs.

"You can't live without a cell phone but you were born without one in the first place?" something I heard when someone said something similar to what you mentioned at school.
It is apparent that calls are more expensive compared to text messages.
For me, since you mentioned offers like that, it got me thinking of the SUN network since they even have that Call and Text Unlimited service going on...

I do a lot of text messages, too. To my family, relatives and friends. especially those who are based abroad. It is my easiest way of communicating with them. But I controlled the use of my load. I make it sure not to exceed to my budget.

I used to hate text messaging but since I got my new phone with the slide out keyboard I text a lot more often. My husband texts all the time and before I got this phone it drove me crazy! He has unlimited texting and I think I have something like 400 texts a month.

Hi piatlocke23, I used to love texting until my fingers are a bit sore.. but now, I am currently using Sun cell, so I call more often than text since it is free. I applied for a line and the texts are unlimited including phone calls, although if I call prepaid numbers, it gets disconnected every 15 mins. I also have another cell#, and I used that for other networks. :)

I do a lot of text messaging. It is almost like having a private, SPAM-free email address in your pocket all the time. I like the fact that you can send/receive short messages instantly to someone no matter where they are. If your phone allows you to save "quick text" messages that you use frequently, sending a text can often be quicker and more efficient than making a call and possibly having to leave a voice mail. I have friends that do not share my opinion though. One friend, in particular, hates text messaging. He would rather call you and talk to you. I like the text messaging option because I can't always answer a call, but I can usually grab my phone and quickly read a text. Text-messaging is usually just more convenient for me than trying to answer a phone call.

i do text message a lot last time.but nowadays i less text messaging.it is because now i am very busy with my classes and assignments.i am studying in another state.so it is very far from my hometown.
so if i wanna call my house it cost me a lot.so i use to text message to my parents.but now i changed to a new phone operator.they have very cheap calling rates for university students.so i do not lose a lot by calling my parents now.

Yes I do use my cell phone to text my friends. We seldom actually talk on the phone now since we always prefer doing something together while catching up. So, we use text mostly to fix time and dates. Besides, I don't personally like to talk on the cell phone as it would give me bad headaches.

I text message occasionally if its really important and don't want to hear a certain person's voice for a while for personal reason. Otherwise I just call. I am not sure if my parents have signed up for an unlimited text family test messenging plan but I guess I should ask if I plan on using this feature more. .lol.
