It seems to me that when watching TV, the commercials take up as much time, if not more, than the actual show. It's very annoying -- and to top it off, sometimes the same commercial is repeated twice! I just wanted to bellyache. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.

I totally agree with you. Commercials really do take as much time as the regular show that is on. I love my DVR for this very reason. I record my fave shows and then I fast forward through the commercials.

I agree with you...Commercials are very annoying...But,I think there's nothing that we can do about it because it's the bread and butter of tv stations...We just have to sort of bear with it...

Yes indeed! great observation - it is very very annoying especially when the volume of commercials is pegged louder than the actual movie or news programme. there i am cranking up the volume to hear the news reader and as soon as a commercial resumes the noise is enough to blast my eardrums out of my head! it doesn't help that some commercials are completely DUMB. and IRRITATING! these days i just go get a drinnk if i can't be bothered to surf channels for fear of missing the restart of the actual programme when it interrupts the commercials briefly.

I'm laughing because I see you really have a lot of grumbling on commercials -- and I can identify with you. I think this is a great sounding board and like you say, LOUD and DUMB they are. Mylot is the sounding board that's never too loud, thank God. Can you imagine the noise in here if we had audio? Thank you for your input square.
