How does he stop powers? Is it a blanket effect (everyone around me, you can't use your powers) or is it more specific (Hiro, you can't time travel)?
I remember an episode where Noah and the Haitian have Nathan Petrelli "cornered". Then Nathan just flew away.
But then, there's this episode where the Haitian supresses Peter Petrelli's powers. Did the Haitian stop all of Peter's powers, or was it only the telekenetic power?

I feel the Haitian is able to supress anyones power due to the fact that he can control the mind to some extend. All the powers are after all controlled by the mind. Nathan flew away before the Haitian stopped him, they didnt show him trying to stop him.

The "immortals" can be killed if their brains are damaged (especially the part that gives them the ability to regenerate). With the Haitian around, it would only make it easier.

The immortals can only die if their head is chopped off. As far as the Haitian goes I am not sure I really understand the full extend of his powers.
