I don't know what is going on in my neck of the woods, but lately we seem to be having a rash of crazy things happening way to close to us for my taste. To list a few. Young man stops to help a lady push her car off the road. Gets hit by a drunk driver who then proceeds to drive about nine blocks - WITH THE BODY HANGING OUT OF THE WINDSHEILD! He then goes home and goes to bed like nothing happens and tells his girlfriend that he hit a pole. Girlfriend notices the blood and calls the cops. New technology helps local athorities recover two vehicles from the local river. BOTH WITH HUMAN REMAINS INSIDE! Man gets in fight with pregnant wife and kills her in front of 1 year old child. Now it turns our he is related in some way to body pulled out or river (See above note). THe worst one is the guy who killed his girlfriend, cooked part of her and left it on the table with a fork sticking out of it, and then took the body to his mother's garage and told Mom and her boyfriend to go to garage and see what he had done. TO HIS MOM"S GARAGE! And finally, let's not forget all the folks who saw the UFO recently in Texas. I think I shall become a hermit, and get some really big nasty dogs to scare everyone away!
