Recently, I managed to make a deal with a jeweler who is a friend of mine to promote his products. he's excellent at his job, he creates fantastic jewelry with hard to work with materials, such as stainless steel and Titanium. But God, he's good! Unfortunately for him, he's a green tea leaf in marketing and promotion so he contacted me to promote and sell his creations. Personally I loved his Titanium jewelry. Solid hard, shiny, very well detailed, non corrosive, non blackening, lightweight, and original. But What metal do you prefer in MODERN JEWELRY? Think about modern jewelry not old fashioned type please. Have a look at the picture to have an idea of titanium jewelry ring. he made this by the way. So again, What metal you prefer in modern jewelry? Gold? Silver?, Stainless steel? Tungsten? Titanium?

titanium is totally uncorrosive and maintenance free. no polishing to remove blackening like silver, unharmed by seawater, remains shiny and cannot be scratched. You like that? :) I am becoming a titanium fan! LOL

Silver has always been my favorite, whether for modern styles or old-fashioned. I just can't get enough of silver. Stainless steel is also something I like. I haven't really had much titanium, because of the expense, but I think it's pretty too. I guess that's about it. I really don't like gold, for any kind of jewelry. Usually if someone buys me gold, it's a sign that they don't know me well enough to know my tastes, and don't care enough about me to find out... unless the item they were buying simply couldn't be found in any other metal.

thanks for your reply, I share your opinion too on gold. More than fashionable i see gold as a hidden investment. Something you keep away instead of showing it. Silver is very popular too, i like it. Titanium could be expensive at times yes, it depends on the method of manufacture. If the tools to make titanium jewelry are not adequate one might get inferior quality for a high price, and that's a pity. I noticed that you mentioned gold as a gift, means that someone does not know you enough, that is important for me to know because i am realizing how important jewelry is as a gift. thank you
