My co-worker (and friend) recently told me about this site-no it's not a money making site and no I don't want referrals lol... it is a site where you can "recycle" your good but unwanted or unneeded things. I don't think It's international but it definitely is for Canada and the USA, But basically it's a big "free to you" site. You can find a local one and join that group. How it works is someone will put up a message of what they have and want to get rid of, then it's a first come first get thing. AND the best thing, is it's all free free free!!! This site is all about keeping perfectly good stuff out of the dump and saving everyone money. I give away things I don't want to people who are looking for them. I've seen everything from beds and fridges and stoves to skates and plants. The only hitch is anything you want to post has got to be free and if you want to get something it's usually a "you come and pick it up" sort of thing so I suggest that if you do join, join a local group lol... But I think It's an amazing and novel idea. I love it. Not only does it save the environment but it saves people money. There is literally something for everyone. So I just thought I'd write this post to let everyone know it is there in case you want to join or just go and take a look. You can get some good stuff, seriously. www.freecycle.org and it is from florida to California to Newfoundland to Yukon.... I live out in the sticks and I found no less than 3 groups in my proxemity.
