The Old War between Rock and Classic Music

By now, there are two kinds of music that they look completly different. Classic music, and Rock n' Roll.
Some people say classic music is the best one,
So you think like them? Why?
Rock is an evolution from classic music?
What do you like the most?

I like them both. When I like Classical music, I adore it. Quite a deal of Classical music leaves me cold though. The same with Rock. When I like it, I adore it; but quite a deal of Rock leaves me cold...and can even alienate me. I don't like aggressive music any more. I listen to Rock more than any other kind of music, often as background music. When it comes to a piece of Classical music I love, I will take time, sit down and meditate to it. Mind you, I can do that with Rock too. Great music is great music, transcending genres.

Well I play classical but I love rock n roll.I never thought they were complete opposites.I believe R&B and Country had a child and they called it Rock N Roll.I think whatever music you like is the best to you. there isn't the best music for everybody, we all get to choose which music we like.

its best to be open minded in regards to music i think.
i like both classical and current rock as well as older rock. but i would have to say that my favourite type of music would have to be jazz. not the fluffy smooth type, but jazz from the 20's and 30's, the way jazz SHOULD sound!! :-)

i love all types of music classicall and rock are two of them i apreciate the components of each.. but oh my what a disaster when there combined for example nightwish ... yuck yuck
