Cotswolds in England

Does anyone live in or has vacationed in or near the Cotswolds area of England? I'd like to hear more about that beautiful area.

The Cotswolds is a day trip away from where I live. I have been there a few times. It is an area that is rich in history, has beautiful countryside and pretty villages. I like to see the lovely old cottages and historical buildings.
