Heath Ledger dies in New York City!

I believe the community of mylot is mostly European and Australian. Me, coming from America, finding out this Australian actor died was a tragedy! I couldn't believe a young, outgoing, enthusiastic human being who was acting as the Joker in the new Batman movie would die! Describe your reaction when you heard the news. Police are still investigating on how he died. What do you think was the cause of his death?

i couldnt believe it either! its so sad! he was a terrific actor and i also was really looking forward to seeing his version of the Joker in the new Batman movie.
i believe it will be an accidental overdose of the ambien and depression meds they said he was on. according to friends and family, he loved life and being a daddy to his young daughter..and the fact that he had made an appointment for later that day implies that he was expecting to be around..at least it implies that to me.
