How do you buy your airplane ticket?

Now I like to buy the airplane ticket via the net. I can see the airplane schedule in details. Besides, usually I will have a good discount if it is not in the busy season. I just order it via the net and pay by credit card. And they deliver the ticket to me so soon and it is free of charge. This is the way I like.

Hi youless! Same here, buying e-ticket now is very convenient but my mother in law still insist on having her plane icket through travel agencies. She still wants the paper tickets which will cost us extra but we let her have her way so as to have her assured that she does have a real plane ticket. haha..I guess, she is still don't trust the net. Hopefully she will soon get used to it. take care and have a nice day. :)

online ticket buying - i just love buying my tickets online. because you can save more time and its fast and so easy. it will be delivered right next to your doorstep.
before my parents buy plane tickets manually, meaning they went to plane offices to buy tickets.. when days and years pass, and ticket agents came they buy it there but with charges ofcourse.. now as we go to a cyber generation, i think buying tickets online is the best and easiest of all, they are more convinient and it saves more time specially if your a busy person. Like me i prefer now to buy tickets online because of so busy schedules and a heavy traffic to go to malls just to purchase tickets.

Three years before, I bought airplane tickets through their fixed outlets. This is not convenient because I have to take much time to check with the members supported for airplane's schedule and costs. Later my friend recommended me online tickets. Now I use C-TRIP for my airplane tickes.

I also use Ctrip and it's great:) If Ctrip can't buy me a ticket, I don't think I can get it from anywhere else.

At least the price is the best here. The website I usually buy ticket is www.ctrip.com but it's a Chinese website. So I am not sure whether it's helpful for you.

Internet has certainly solved many problems and has made lives easier in certain aspects. It's surely easier and cheaper, and yes safer too, to buy tickets online. Whenever I need to buy tickets for myself or my family, not only of planes but also for trains, I do it through internet. It saves a lot of time, effort, energy and often times money too. Sometimes, I get discounts even upto 60% of normal package, while buying online given that I do it on right time!:-)

I usually order through travel agent because they have the best price. I would talk to a few agents and order the cheapest one with a good time slot. I did look up on the internet for air ticket prices from time to time but just for references.

If I am not getting a free ticket with my dad'd frequent flier miles, I buy my tickets online every time. This way I can shop around and see who has the best prices and the best (shortest) layover. I usually end up going through Orbitz, Travelocity or Expedia. I travel a lot and I avoid the Houston airport at all costs, even if that means paying more. I like to see in advance where all of the flights layover before I choose a ticket.

My family and I usually buy our tickets through our travel agent. Their the ones who take care of all our passport, and plane tickets need. We won't have to go through the hassle of inputting our credit card number over the internet. Plus, it saves us much more time and they don't charge us much since the owner of the travel agency is a long time family friend.

Well my last trip to the US from Australia I purchased my ticket online and it all went smoothly (apart from my departing flight being cancled and rebooked for the next day lol). You can grab some great bargins if you are flexible with travel dates even just by a day or so, and if you look around and compare between directly booking with airlines & with the online agencies. I have trained as a travel agent (not currently working as one though) and I have to admit there are some benifits to booking through an agent. For example if you aren't 100% sure where you want to go they do have alot of experiance and knowledge and can advise you and can find you the best price. Alot of travel agents will also price match or go even lower (even competing with online sales). But like everything you need to find a trust worthy one.

When your son is over 2, you can have a travel together. We had a travel when my son was 2 years old. I don't think he can remember many things, but it's good that he enjoyed the trip.

Yeah, youless, it is so convenient to book ticket online. I do like to book my airplane ticket using my credit card via the net. After that, I will get a boarding code which I can possess my boarding pass at the related counter in the airport on the departure day. Yeah, we could always get ticket with great discount during low season. So I always try not to go for vacation during pick season.

I often look at the home page of different airlines. I have got some excellent deals this way. First of all I compared the cost of flights from the UK to the Seychelles. I found the cheapest and booked this flight with directly with the airline. It was traveling to Nairobi then changing to an onward flight to the Seychelles. When I went to New Zealand I booked directly on the Air New Zealand Internet site. I got such a great price on my ticket that included lots of stopovers on the islands of the South Pacific. I booked my around the world flights with a travel consultant. They got me a good deal with Qantas and Virgin Atlantic. I usually pay with my debit card over the Internet, sometimes I travel with an e ticket, get my tickets sent by post or pick my tickets up at the airport. I wish you happy traveling my friend.
