LG Shine or Samsung u700

I opted for a combined Christmas and birthday present this year and have settled on a good phone. I've researched these two phones, mainly because of the look and the price seems right. I'm stuck on which one to choose because they both have their pros and cons: The LG Shine: Solid build (I tend to drop my phones alot) Cheaper than the Samsung Less functionality than the Samsung The Samsung u700: More functionality Better battery life More expensive A more plastic build Just wondering if any of you either have the phones or know anything about them? I'd appreciate any advice before I make my purchase. Thanks!
