This is for all the single parents out there, have your sons/daughters ever set you up on a blind date before? My sons talked me into joining one of those dating sites, I got a few responses and was coaxed into responding back. I met a nice woman named Jenny, we didn't have much in common but it was niced to go out for a change. I like the fact that my sons look out for me the way they do, but I feel that they should be so involved in my relatonships they way they do, what do you guys think?

I did go out on the date adn it turned out we really didn't have as much in common as we claimed to. I have since stopped the online dating, since I was seeming to only atract the wrong girls.

At least they are looking out for you and they tried!!
You're right, it is nice to go out once in awhile and know that it's something your kids want you to do.
At least they have your best interests (as far as they're concerned) at heart and want to see you happy!

I do appriciate that they look out for me like they do, I just don't want them to feel like they have to or like I burden them in such a way.

Your sons might be more selfish than you think LOL it's good that you go out and socialize and stopping worrying about them. Things can change a lot in more serious relationships. Good luck and nice day.
