Paying for Referrals ? good or bad ?

I keep seeing adverts around for purchasing referrals, normally for $1, although I have noticed one company doing them for 0.20c.
has anyone had experience of these companies and are the referrals wrth paying for ?

I would never buy referrals, for the simple fact that you are trying to earn money on these sites rather than give money away, and how do you know once you have bought your referrals that they are going to be active? You could be buying duds that just sign up and do nothing, which I have had a lot of problem with. I much prefer sites like Getref which you get referrals for FREE. It defeats the object buying referrals. I will upgrade on a site to get random referrals which is a bonus and I would recommend but I would never encourage anyone to buy referrals unless you are guaranteed that they will be active but no one can guarantee that!

Couldn't agree more with you, its just frustrating trying to ge those vital Referrals.

I bought 15 referrals from Bux.to and each one is active. I got lucky. I was hoping for 5 or 6 of them to be active. I do recommend it and when I get my tax money I will buy more. I dont know about other sites though.
