I have a bluetooth. But, I rarely use it. Sometimes it has a mind of its own. I have never been able to get it to work without some type of issue. I wish I could it would be incredibly useful. But, no luck so far. I use one for my cell phone.

Yes I use bluetooth occasionally. From phone to pc and vice versa.
I have tried phone to phone too.
It is very good, way faster than transferring things via e.g. infrared.:P

Bluetooth has it's effective range. Some new phone right now has bluetooth built in on them. You just have to turn it on or off if you like. On computers, you have to buy a bluetooth device to attach to your computer. It is rare in some computers that there is a built in bluetooth device. On some laptops you will find one. On some desktop PCs it is rare. It's effective range is about 10 meters.

Bluetooth is actually extremely effective and easy to use with computer's. It's just wonderful, and makes everything easier. Yeah, it might be 2-3 times more expensive, but totally worth it in the end.
