I like John Denver now more than I did when he was alive. I think my favorite song is "Country Roads." Maybe, I'm just getting a little sentimental in my old age.

Yes, I like John Denver. Many songs are very sweet but there is funny stuff, too, like "grandma`s featherbed". I still have some old records he did way back when. It seems like long long ago to me.... welcome to mylot and happy mylotting!

I love John's songs, especially the ones that weren't 'hits' (and never got any airplay which is a shame) -- Healing Time On Earth, The Gift You Are, On The Wings Of A Dream, It's About Time, Falling Leaves, Wandering Soul/Love Is The Answer, The Wings That Fly Us Home, etc.. His music touches the soul, and his spirit is very much alive. "If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true, my memory of love will be of you."
