What kind of music do you like to dance to?

It doesn't really matter... as long as you feel the beat, and it really defends upon the Mode....

I've been an avid music nut my whole life and listen to many different genres and can dance to any of them depending on my mood that day LOL...Of course being a former dancer is a huge help too IMO...I dont think I really have a fav over any other though...Like I said I listen to all sorts of tunes and can dance to all genres that I enjoy (even some that I dont LOL)

I enjoy dancing to all forms of music. I find more lyrical songs easier to choreograph and move naturally to, although I love dancing to more upbeat things as well. I do not have a favorite genre because I will listen to just about anything, but I tend to appreciate classics and non-mainstream over the current era's mainstream music. I especially like more non-mainstream scores for my performances as it makes it less predictable for the audience. As for "rockin' out" with friends... I really don't do much of that!

I love dancing to hiphop,reggae,pop,and R&B.I love songs that makes me feel like shaking my booty.I love songs of rihanna,beyonce knowles,black eyed peas,shakira,britney spears,justin timberlake,madonna,and pussycat dolls.I love dancing.I even have a collection of dance music videos that I love watching and learning the choreography.

It's usually going to be something along the lines of hip-hop, R&B, or those types of music for dancing because of my preference for bass and that thumping music that produces some rhythm. There are some new songs with dances that go with them that I kinda like (i.e. Soulja Boy), but really it's about getting on the floor and doing my own thing to them all. It's about what feels right to me with any kind of music. When I listen to rock music, I have a tendency to just move my body and not fully dance.

I love any type of dance music,R&B,Reggae {dance hall] hip hop,salsa...whatever I am feeling at the time...all music makes me want to move though :) as of late I have been listening to punk and suprisingly enough,I can dance to that too,lmao

I am the same way. I love to dance hip hop and r&b when going to the clubs on the dance floor. But I'm picky of which I like - As long there's a lot of bass and the type of beats to pop, c-walk, robot to and more. I like the Chris Brown type of hip hop dancing - but then when dancing to the ladies to the hip hop got to make sure got that beat going because all we do is groove to it. You mentioned some of the hip hop artists especially hurricane chris - my favorite jam from him is Hand Clap - you got some taste of music sweety!
