Do You Recycle?

I was looking in the corner of the house while it was raining here and I see the pile of aluminum cans and plastic bottles that we have gathered. I want to take it to the recycling center, but the heavy rain wouldn't allow me to. It got me to thinking though, do a lot of you myLot users take your recyclable items to the recycling center anymore? I definitely do because we do pay that fee when we buy these things, too. If you do, how often do you take them there? Do you throw them away if you don't go, or how do you dispose of them?

yes we recycle all the time.we have special recycle bins at our home and also can the take aluminium cans to the recycle place and they pay you cash.schools are encouraged to recycle everything,so it is good.cheers sue

Yeah, we do the same thing with our bottles and cans. Also, I think it's a great idea to encourage schools to recycle, that's a lot of materials used that can be recycled. Thanks for your response!

When I'm at home, I really do not have access to a place where I can recycle. We just throw everything away and go from there. At school however, I thankfully have access to places where I can recycle items. We save everything in our apartment that we can recycle and we take them out to the bins every once in awhile. We seem to accumulate quite a few items that we can recycle so we often have to take them out several times a week which doesn't bother me because the bins are right on our way in and out of our building.
