I have two sons the eldest is 7 and the youngest is 1... they used to quarrel all the times...I really dont know what to do.. the youngest often times wanted what his elder brother have... for example if the eldest is playing psp the youngest will get it from him...my eldest son, will give it to him and play with another toy... then from there the youngest will get it again... with this the eldest will get irritated... have any suggestions with this?

Dear sharrone being a parent of 4 I know where you are coming from this disscussion can lead into great debate. However my youngest is 2 and has a theripest who visits every week for physical stimulation he had heart surgery. Any way her explaination of giving into younger children is "Do not give into their demands instead teach them that they will get what you want to give them when it is time" Sometimes it is hard when the child is being a brat you just want them to stop but they know this so be strong and patient but be firm and understanding. Give them something else. Good luck

thanks for the advice... I appreciate it... you really have to be firm sometimes... for them not to grow old like a brat... so that they will learn to obey and respect their elders...

Dear Sharrone_01,
first you have to is do not show your anger, try to make or playing game together. for example with the psp, told them to play an arcade games that need 2 players as a team.
the second, tell stories to the eldest about how become a real big brother, there's a lot movie out there (beethovens, pay it forward, etc) that you can show to him.
hope you'll not get any trouble with this age gap.
regards,
herry
