Want to know how many of you use yahoo messenger?

got to be the most popular program out there for chatting, webcam, voice calling, text messaging and other things. I used to be on it all the time but have no time for it. I put in time at it when I get the chance in the net cafe. a good way to keep up with my friends and family. how about you? are you an addict with YM? also want to add to be very careful who you add on there and avoid those multiple chatrooms i heard it can be very dangerous.

I hardly know anyone who uses Yahoo Messenger anymore. Majority of people still use Windows Live/MSN Messenger or those instant chat things you can add to your Facebook/Myspace page. I think any instant messenger is handy to keep in touch with people.
There is nothing wrong with chatrooms if you are cautious of what you are doing and what others are around you. You don't have to add people to your list if you don't want too

Really? because here in the philippines it is used like 99.9% of the time and even friends I know in the U.S uses it often too. I guess other countries are using other chat programs too.

i also uses it because its very popular and my alll friends and family members uses it. well its good for voice chatting just not for video calling .

i do use yahoo messenger but mostly at work coz my colleagues and friends are on it. ym keeps me sane at work from all the workload haha! at home i mainly use msn messenger and gtalk :)

Hai i have been using yahoo messenger for a long time. i had great fun witn yahoo messenger but i didn't addict it thats good news for me so yahoo is providing platform one country and country and so many people with communicate several times its very good news. ofcourse we will lot of fun with webcam and chating etc. ok give me response i will wait for your reply thank you.

Yes, use it a lot but skype is better for voip calls

oh really how dangerous, as far as you are good the world is beautiful, yahoo messenger is so good, its the medium to get connected with relatives friends even if you are offline one gets the messages, nice while photo sharing, voice calls, web cam, and the best part file transfers.

most of my friends and i are using windows live messenger.i hardly see anyone using yahoo messenger in my place.i did installed YM once.but that time my programme keep on crashing and responding when i tried to login.i tried uninstall and reinstall once again.
but the same problem happened again.so i gave up and only use windows live messenger until now.besides now they have a lot of better features and the design is great as well.besides those chatrooms is YM is not very safe.they will send viruses to you.

I use Yahoo Messenger almost on a daily basis. I keep contact with friends or family members when I see them online. I've been using it quite a while now and I still consider it pretty popular to this day. Before it had so many different issues and bugs that need to be fix but so far no issues whatsoever. Another program I would suggest is the all in one program called Trillian Pro which contains AIM, MSN, YAHOO and others. You should check it out - much easier to use that way.
