Can anybody give me an idea as to how do we rate a successful person? As you can see there are people who succeed in business yet fail in family matters. There are those who are just happy with what they have, enjoying life and just being content. There are those who almost have everything yet still strive to gain more. What do you think is the best measurement of success? Is it the money? Is it Happiness? Is it just being content?

if we are going to define success itself, it is the outcome of what you do and what you pursue in life. i believe that you cannot just make a comparison on different situations in our life, whether it is love, money, career, family, frisnds and the list goes on. as you said it that some person succeed in business and failed in family relationships and vice versa, a typical example how complicated life's circumstances are. we just have to remember that every person has it's own limitations, has it's own choice, has it's own principles in life that they are following and with that it is just too hard to compare one from other because there are so many variables to consider. and you can only compare things with the same elements yet there are alos times that setting goals to achieve something is just the right way to do. or should i say setting realistic goals had higher percentage of achieving later on thans just setting it randomly as we see others have done in their life. nonetheless, that doesn't mean that you can't achieve what others are achieving, it depends in the availability of resources that you have on hand and the contentment of what you are achieving.

You are definitely right my friend. Success can be measured in different ways and the best hitng that can guage such is the person himself. Not any other person. People might find you unsuccessful or succesful and then you might think differently. Thanks for the response!
