Facebook vs Myspace

Does anybody here not know what facebook is?! It seems that myspace took off and facebook just came out of nowhere and is not competition to myspace. I know alot of people that hate myspace and would rather use facebook because they say its "easier". I recently signed up to facebook and i'll let you know its defidently NOT easier than myspace. Your homepage is filled with information and almost everything is customizable! It get a little confusing though because you can add applications to your facebook to make it stand out. Some applications are made so the more friends you sent invites for the application to the more your popularity goes up. One thing that is going to have users keep switching to facebook is the spam. Myspace is filled with spammers and theres no easy way of getting rid of them. The most common use of spam is having a friend request from a hot chick and when you go to add their profile they fill your profile up with pictures that link to either phising sites that look like myspace and steal your passwords or it links to an affiliate site where these spammers get paid. Facebook on the other hand doesn't have spammers on its network and it includes appliations to prevent spamming so in return its going to be a pretty hard decision over which is better myspace or facebook?
