Have you ever felt so lonely?

Yes, in my youth I felt lonest in a crowd because no one acknowledged me, knew I existed or even cared. I did not know how to reach out and express my inner feelings and desires. What I would have given to have had just one friend, sigh! I grew up the last of eight and was significantly younger than the rest of my siblings, so I did not get to socialize among them too often. We lived in an extremely rural area so I had no other kids to play with. The TV and my pets became my best friends. This isolated upbringing effected my ability to communicate verbally. I became pray for human vultures looking to take advantage of the weak but after being kicked around by life so many times I found my voice and life has never been so sweet. I learned who I was, why I am the way I am, and self-acceptance. After I got to know me, I found out that I liked the person that I'd grown up to be. Loneliness is no longer my constant companion; I walk with God and enjoy the companionship of myself. No matter where I am, I am never alone.

If you are really that lonely the you need to do something about it right now. You are way too young to be that alone. You have your whole life ahead of you. Get out in public and meet people. Force your self to talk to folks and make friends. I do not know what is making you sad and alone but the best way out of it is to surround yourself with new people. Join some sort of sports activity. Even if it is ping pong or something that is not real active as long as there are people. Walk in parks, go to religious services, go to movies, anyplace where there are people. Do not stay alone and eventually you will not be lonely any more. Shalom~Adoniah

yeah i feel lonely because for almost 2 1/2 years i dont see my husband and family after getting married one week i leave my husband to go back here in my job in saudi and he's in philippines i feel very lonely specially when holidays xmas, bdays, anniversary but i hope by next year i will be home soon.
