Is family guy funny or not?!

Do you think family guy is funny or are they just crude humor and peters voice is the most annoying sound your ears can take? I think south park is 10 times funnier than family guy and i also think the simpsons are still the best cartoon created since they have been around first! Honeslty i think family guy is only funny half the time and some of the statements the show makes will make you sit there and say "can they say that on tv" because the show is crude humor in a way. What are your thoughts on family guy or are the simpsons better?

i recently forgot to take my pills to help me sleep and found myself , at some ungodly hour, faced with this anti christ trying to kill his mother. i truely hope this is not based on a true life experience.
i look forward to watching south park. it sounds much more christian. thank you for the recomendation.

If you want to watch a cartoon that isn't based on stupid humor and doesn't contain a plot then don't watch family guy because that's all the show is based on (random jokes). South park has a plot to it and has been out longer than family guy ;).

Robot Chicken fulfills the Family Guy humor (because it can be funny at times) without trying to be something it's not. The problem is that South Park is focused on "structure", "plot", "thinking", "morals", and "current events"; whereas Family Guy is focused on "fart humor".
The Simpsons is the best - though I've dropped off in the past few years. The movie was awesome.

I agree the movie was sweet! Also south park is really based on current events which makes the show seem more up to date while family guy is really based on fart humor which is something that should be on nickelodeon.
