Anyone know why Internet Exlporer doesnt work in vista?

Does anyone know why IE wont work in vista? Better yet does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have reinstalled windows vista twice and it still wont run. I use firefox but some sites require IE and I also have some programs that have IE built into them. Its just really annoying!

I don't why you are facing this problem!! i am using Vista and IE-7 is just working fine. Is your vista version genuine? maybe that is the problem?
Anyway, i work with lots of software developers and i will consult them for you first thing on Sunday.

I have Vista on my new computer, and I've never had a problem with IE working. The problem could be with the Vista software you used to install it on your computer, you might check with wherever you bought it.

I bought it from wallmart and I tried downloading Internet explorer but it still dosnt work. By the way I got the upgrade version from xp.
