Today is my birthday, I am 56 years old today. I made it pretty far in life already. I am happy and grateful.
So I will go see my age old parents today who live in a senior residence. This will be my party.
I am sure my blind dad will cook me a cup of coffee and my mom in her wheel chair will serve me a piece of cake. I am so glad that they are still a live.
This is really a happy and grateful day.

well happy birthday to you for yesterday. My last birthday was spent giving enemas to constipated goats. No im not a vet, but i do enjoy voluntary work

Hi Inky Happy Birthday to you! My last birthday which was in December was really quite. Didnt do much because my hubby had to work. But that weekend he took me out to my favorite restaurant. When he came home from work on my birthday he had a cake for me. I thought that was nice. So anyway I hope your birthday was a special day for you.

Its nice to know that your parents are still alive and can do some things for you on your special day. Hope you enjoy your special day.
I celebrated my last bday in the office, we had lunch and snacks and did videoke singing during break time. Then I had dinner with my sons at a restaurant. Few days after my bday, I took a flight to the workplace of my hubby who works overseas and stayed with him for about 2 weeks.

happy birthday inky.i hope you enjoy your day with your parents,cherish them while you still have them.i turned 49 on new years eve and just had a quite evening with my children.i am hoping for a big bash when i turn 50.its a bit scary realy as i do not feel nearly 50.cheers sue

Happy Birthday. I just turned 48 last Saturday, I spent the day doing what I love, scrapbooking, and had phone calls from my daughters, my sister and my parents, they all live 1600 miles away except for my oldest is who lives 600 miles away. I did get to see my oldest she came up the week before my birthday. My s/o made me breakfast, and since it was cold outside it was a good day to stay in and scrap.
