I used to watch them all when I was a kid. Hank Parker has always been my favorite, though. I wish I could make a living catching bass (or any other fish for that matter). That has got to be the dream job of half the guys in America. I have no clue how to get that going, but I know I would like to give it a try.

I think Hank was my favorite as well. I also wish I could fish for a living! I am working on it, but not the easiest process

Goldeneagle,
It is never too late to start tournament fishing! I started just about 4 years ago now and although I don't get to enter tournaments as often as I like I still enter quite a few local ones each year. I don't know what part of the country you are in but I live in south west Arkansas. I do quite a bit of my fishing in Texas. Sealy Outdoors and McDonalds sponsors three huge tournaments each year, one at Sam Rayburn reservoir and one at Toledo Bend reservoir and one at Lake Fork. These are ameteur only tournaments and are really high paying. They have hourly payouts for ten places starting at $1000 down to $200 and these are guarateed! Each of these tournaments go for three days and the top weight single bass for the entire 3 days wins a prize package in excess of $100,000. If you are close enough to Texas and would like to check out the tournaments you can go to this address: www.sealyoutdoors.com
One more tournament/semi-pro thing. The FLW and B.A.S.S. both have weekend fishermen tournaments. In these tournaments you dont even have to have a boat! You can enter the non-boater side of the tournament and fish with a boater entrant for as little as $100 and the payout is pretty good also. If you are interested you can go here:

I like them all, though some of them I dont know their names. I am familiar with all the ones you mentioned though. Pretty much the only fishing I dont watch is fly fishing (never tried it) and marlin, swordfish and such. I fish every single chance I get and will til the day of my last breath.

Just wanted to put my two cents worth in! I've always liked KVD. Kevin Van Dam just seems to consistently be in at least the top 15 or 20. I also like one of our local fishermen who has been pro for several years and that is Jimmy Mize.
