Money or Boredom?

When write on Mylot, its mostly just for fun. Its something to do to kill time when Im bored....the fact that you earn a little is nice to, every little bit counts but mostly to me I just have fun reading and responding to posts. But what about the rest of you? Is it the money that keeps you coming back? Or is it just for fun or boredom?

for me ,an english-language learner ,i find it a effective way to improve my poor written english.here,i have access to many friends.i think it interesting for me to expose myself to the culture of the world.i deeply know the meaning of Global Village.information here spread quickly.at the same time ,i open my horizon and learn much knowledge on mang aspects.i'm a new comer here and i don't expect to earn much money.

Thats an interesting reason to use mylot! I have also found that its a good place to get questions answered or find information out. I've actually been able to have a lot of questions answered that were things I really needed information on yet couldnt find good information in other places. Often by just skimming through discussion and reading other responses you'll find information your looking for. But if your new on mylot then just so you know....its not something you'll make money at. The small amount you earn is just a little bonus really but not much at all! Best wishes and have fun!

Same here in my case too..i have been a member of mylot for over a year and i haven't yet reached a payout....my total earnings right now is 1.83 $ and i have made only 170 plus posts its fun to read varoius discussions and their varoius responses...and u get a picture of different people in different placess..this is better than any social networking site.......

Both.. But honestly before money-making online has rise, I came to use Internet/mylot to kill boredom. I just surf and surf, read articles that interests me -- just that. However, when this money-making thingy has come, I tend to mix both every time I use Internet. If I’m bored and wanted to use the internet, I make sure I’m getting something back. ;)

Yeah some people actually do make it work for them a and actually earn enough money to do them some good. The money is a plus when you have a site that your gonna be on regardless! Internet is fun for me, so like you I use it to kill boredom, but I would deffinatly use mylot even if there was no money involved.

It is some of both. I really like the socializing. Sometimes I do serious posts, but other times I just cut up with people and joke around. I feel like there are some great things I learned, and I feel like I help others as well. This site proves to me how alike people are all over the world.

Yeah I know what you mean about people being alike all over the world....I know this sounds weird but sometimes I have a hard time immagining people from certian countries outside the US doing things like spending time on the internet....so when I see members of mylot from all over its fun and interesting seeing exactly how alike we all are.
