Do you keep your room tidy?

I like a clean room too....but I can't say the same for when I was younger. Doesn't mean that it was as messy as the picture...but well it wasn't very well organized all the time. I usually did it over the weekend. But it was pretty much okay...I didn't have things on the floor and I made my bed everyday. But after marriage, I've become a cleanliness freak (God alone knows how and my parents are surprised). Now I am the bad witch with hubby and son..lol I've also noticed that putting things in place takes a backseat for around 2 years after I have a child because I don't have enough time. Besides that period of time, I keep a very very clean house all the time....even if I have to sleep late or get up at 4 am to do it! Though I grew up having to do everything ourself, I have a maid who now comes in to sweep and mop and clean the dishes and bathroom. But I do the rest of the other stuff....all the detail cleaning (which has taken a backseat now that I have a one year old).

Dear friend i think we are almost alike i like my room tidy and things at place, and keep it clean, freah and gragnant even at office, i keep my workstation(office table and PC) clean and clear and at the end of day, i try to clear my table as clean as possible i know its not that good habit as it increases ur work but its me

hi mycharm! ^__^ i also hate it when my room is messy, and so as our house. but i'm too lazy to do the cleaning. LOL i only sweep the floor of my room everytime i'm home. i seldom do general cleaning. ^__^;; i think i only do general cleaning of my room when there's special occasions like Christmas or new year. my mother usually pay for a general cleaning of our house. before i used to patiently clean our house but i got so tired and pissed of my lazy sisters and nephew and nieces so i decided to ignore them and let them clean their own mess whenever they want. i seldom do the dishes anymore too. i only wash my own dishes. i let them do their own.

I hate to see my house specially my room that is in mess. That's why sometimes I feel stress when my kids leave their things in organized, we only have one room we stay all there that's why I thought them how to be organized on their things so that I will not get mad on them.

I do like my room to be tidy but i dun like to be the one tidying it.. LOL =P So most of the times, my mom will only sweep or mop the floor while i have to clean off the dust on the desk and books.. hehe.. Organizing of things, i will only do it when it became too much for me to store.. LOL

We really do try. We have a saying at our house. A clean house is a happy house. And a happy house is a good house.My daughter at 4 is showing a real interest in helping with the chores. She helps keep her bedroom picked up.Its wonderful.

I'm definitely a "neat freak" as a guy, I don't like seeing my room messy and uncomfortable to stay at. I prefer to at least broom-sweep and dust-wipe everything in a day, there's a construction site near in our place that is developing a new housing project. My room always gets some dust, no matter how closed my windows were and I guess I'll be doing this until mid-year. I always keep my room neat and clean, it is where I take a rest after a whole day's work so I make sure that I am at ease and comfy whenever I use it!;)

I want it to be cleaned, but I have 6 rooms, counting bathrooms and kitchen too. And I stay alone so I found the rooms difficult to be kept cleaned. I have a maid who sweeps and mops everyday, but it's difficult to keep the entire things in their proper place... But I try to clean them once in a week. The formula that I use, therefore, is not to dirty the rooms as far as possible... :-)

I not only keep my own room clean and organized but my whole apartment. I like things organized so if I need to find something I can find it right away...I pretty much have a photographic memory...once a place is organized and cleaned out I remember exactly where everything is. My task for this coming week for instance is to get rid of old papers that have accumulated. I do this periodically cause I'm always amazed how fast all those papers can pile up everywhere.

Absolutly! Just like you, I love a clean house! I can't stand a dirty house for it makes me so antsy to clean it. I don't have a maid because I like doing it myself because then I KNOW it's clean! LOL Happy Postings to you too!

I'm the same as you, I don't like a dirty or messy house, not just my bedroom. For me the worst is the bathroom. I clean the bathrooms every day because I can't stand it dirty. The germs in a bathroom are over whelming. I just spray my countertop and sink with windex and wipe it. This keeps it nice and shiny and new looking. I take showers so I only clean my bathrub once a week because it doesn't get that dirty. I clean the toilet every day also. My kitchen has to be clean too. I don't like dirty dishes laying around. I have a dishwasher but my hubby has a bad habit of just leaving his dirty dishes siting on the counter, so I put them in the dishwasher and I do the same with my counter tops and sink, wipe them with windex. Same with my stove and fridge. I pick things up right away so there is never anything just laying around. I feel a neat house makes a neat life.

I really like my room to be clean and tidy, ever since I was a kid, I have always been in the habit of putting things in the proper place and make the floor clean and shiny. I just can't explain it but maybe it is in me. You see, I cannot do well in most of the thins I do if everything is in disarray. Now that I have a son, and most of the time when I go home and I see the toys scattered all over the place, I feel really tired instead of being relaxed when I am home. Luckily, my son now is very much disciplined and when I arrived thing are already in order. I have commended him for that..... Its really relaxing to enter my room when everything is in place. Oh by the way, I clean it myself since and do the arrangement of things. I find it easier to locate the things I have arranged when i need them, and its more fulfilling to see a clean room out of your own sweat.

My room is not so tidy. I'm cleaning once a week

i clean my room by myself it gets very messy but i still do it because since i was young i been taught to always pick up after myself because no one else will do it for you so yup i keep everything tidy=] good idea of discussion.

Thats great !! hope i can have one like you !!! i have to remind always my children to clean their own room atleast everyday or alternately..and the rest its me who cleans except for washing clothes since we have someone who do the job for us..

I can't stand a messy room - I can't sleep in a bedroom that is messy and can't work in any other room that is messy. I do the cleaning myself except for my son's room - I make him do that.

Of course I want it all organized and clean, I am with a room mate and it feels shameful if i just leave it messy and and not a good site to see as well. Its nice to sleep in a clean and organized room and its refrshing to have that kind of environment free from hassles and dirty stuff around.

I like having a clean house, mind you I'm not a clean freak, but I can't stand it to be messy. And every other weekend it almost drives me crazy when my s/o's daughter is here! lol Because, she doesn't have to do anything at her mom's house, so she figures she can just leave things all over the place here. I do it all myself, I don't have a maid either, but I've never minded doing it myself, and I taught my daughters to pick up after themselves when they were young.

me too,hate my room being so messy,i dont have maid either,meantimes i am a lazy dont like to tidy it,coz after 4days the tidy room soon be messy quickly,,so it can keep messy for sometimes maybe half months,when i cant bear it,so i will tidy my room..lol.WISH YOU have a good day

Yup! I hate to bring my gf over and see all my things hanging around. it's kinda embarrassing. I don't want her to see something that's not supposed to be there. you know what I mean. :)
