I had my daughters ears pierced when she was 4 mths old at the doctors office.. they put numbing stuff on the ear before they did it. it was almost 8 yrs ago.. I don't know if they still do it in the Dr's office..but you can check... other than that.. i think it is 6 mths old at a piercing place.

My mom did it to me, but it turned out that I was allergic and so I never had my ears done again.

I don't have kids but I got mine pierced when I was a baby. My mom said I didn't cry, so maybe that's a good time. I know know that I they weren't pierced already they wouldn't be still.

hi,i had my daughters done when she was 6/7. I waited because I can remember when I had an allergic response to the metal and had infected ears...oucccchhh. she loved the sense of achievement to do the"big girls thing"! otherwise you did the right thing by doing it when she had no real idea what it was all about and get it over and done with. cutie little darling.

The best time to do it is as soon as you can. If you go ahead and get them pierced at a few months old, they get used to having them and are less likely to pick at them. My mom did mine at 7 months. I never got my daughters ears pierced, and she is 3 now. I wont do it now because I know she will just pick at them and they will probably get infected. Im just going to wait until she is old enough to make the decision herself.

I believe in between 3 to 6 mos will do the best timeline for the little bundles of joy.
