Law School? Hmmm....

WRITTEN: January 9, 2008 8:49PM During our lesson on Taxation with Attorney yesterday, he discussed about "Donor's Tax" - which is comprised of gratuitous transfer by the donor and acceptance by the donee. (Okie... stop the lesson! hihi..) He also mentioned that under the Family Code, a FETUS can be a donee - which means that the fetus can accept a donation. Whaaaaaaaaat??? It was new to me! It was a new lesson - something new that I found out! =) Attorney said that there's a certain stage that the fetus will "acquire" or be considered as a person. The mother will be the signatory, of course. Whoooaw! It amazes me! :) Hihihi... And I became more interested in studying and learning more about Law and Taxation, the subject I almost cursed during college. hehe... :p [And oh! Taxation was one of my 2 highest subjects during our pre-board exam. Unbelievable. hehe... Considering the way I treated the subject back in school. tehehe] .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. WRITTEN: Now. hihihi... The subject on Business Law also catches my attention. I read it in an entrepreneur book that when you go into financial literacy, 2 knowledge are needed: Accounting and Law. Accounting for the "manual" and Law will serve as the "rules". Hmmmm.... And I appreciated more what was written on that book as I discover more about Law these past days, especially that our professor relates it to actual practice. :) .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. I am more and more interested and excited to learn more about laws and tax. :) Hmmm... Law School? We'll see. :)
