All of us use a calendar all the time. The question is how many of us prefer to use a book calendar or diary or an electronic device like a handheld pda.
The nature of my business requires me to travel a lot. At the same time I do have to edit my calendar regularly. Therefore, I am an advocate for a handheld pda for calendar use.
What is your favourite calendar style?

I did tried to use the calendar on my cellphone but gave up after some time. It was not an easy task to key in details when in a hurry. Being outdoor a lot, a desktop calendar did not work for me, either.
So, it is still a handheld pda that has phone, gps, time management, plus a gazillion of other softwares.

Personally I prefere the calendar windows use in microsoft outlook. Its quite practical especially if you are a person hanging out always with the laptop. Its quite useful and its really easy to use. Among all its relatively to edit and adjust. Also it has a function to rmind you of the upcoming events. Its quite useful and if you use it correctly an regularly the chance to miss a birthday, appointment, meeting or any day to day activity is practically zero.

I would love a PDA if I could afford one but I'm stuck with the old fashioned book calendar for the time being. I do have an online calendar I use now and then but it's not the same. By the end of the year my calendar is a mess because I'm always making changes.

That's why I'd never dare look at having a manual calendar. You'd have to transfer all the important data like contacts, birthdays, etc each new year. Besides, an electronic diary can store years and years of data.

I know - I've known people who had them and they love them. It's on my 'wish list' - maybe this will be the year I get one.

I don't have a pda I use wall calendars and those little free calendar book planners that Hallmark hands out. I keep it open on my computer desk so I can write stuff down and look at it to see what is planned for the week.

Good for you but not for me. Still, every individual would have their ideal form of calendar. It is possible a time will come when you have to make decision on your caledar style because of work nature or lifestyle.
