The few couple days were really bad for me, been going through lots of trouble and was really depressed. My boyfriend knew about it and yet he didn't cancel his trip to the sea with his family. If it was a fancy, expensive thing i would've understood but it is just a weekend thing. I don't understand how he was able to enjoy his time and relax while i am in a mess.
Do you think i have the right to be mad at him since he only called once!!

From your profile I gather you live in Jordan. It is my understanding that women are guarded carefully and not allowed to date and marriages are arranged by the family. How do you manage to have a boyfriend? In any case two people are not joined at the hips and are entitled to their own independent lives. Obviously he thought so too.

No actually this is a misconception.. Not everyone get married through arranged marraiges (at least not this generation) and we do have normal lives. We date and hang out with friends from other gender.. You should come to Amman and see for yourself or at least ask people who visited Jordan, they'll tell you it is just like any other place.
