Big dogs or small ones?

I like medium to large size dogs. I don't like having to bend down too much to pet them. I would always be afraid of stepping on my small dog in case I didn't see him. I think small dogs offer protection just like a larger one would. In fact, I think their teeth are more needle like. Big dogs just look more scary than small ones and easier seen.

I love both but since I always lived in an appartment I would only have a small dog now, actually I have cats

I like all dogs but you are right in the sense each size eats more and has alot of different needs the one thing you can count on with all dogs is there temperment you never know what they are going to do and when.I like dogs because you can train them and have fun with them they will be long companions as long as they are took good care of any size will do for me.Have a super day.

Go big or go home! I just feel like little dogs are not real dogs... almost more like cats or big gerbils, LOL!

As for me,I like small dogs,and I have had four small dogs in the past few years. the most importance reason is small dogs are easier to manage and I don't need to worry the happen of accidents. Having a small dog,I could have it in my arms when I feel cold or sad.

give me a small dog any day they are like babies they are the ultimate cuddle factor there are some breeds that are like a big dog in a little dog body IE the pug

I tend to like big dogs more but having said that, I wouldn't change my small breed dog for anything in the world. He's perfect for me in every way except that I wouldn't mind at all if he were a bit bigger so it's not so easy to step on him and I wouldn't have to bend down to pet him all the time.

I prefer smaller dogs because you can toss them in the sink and bathe them and they are easier to walk. I have been practically dragged trying to walk a big dog (I am small person). It was quite embarrassing. lol!!

Hi, I don't know much about small dogs. I have had dobermanns and Dalmatian at home. Now I have a Dalmatian. She is so cute and a darling, ofcourse very very naughty. I do not mind spending my time and energy looking after her, as no one dares to get in when she is loose. I prefer to have dogs for protection as myself and my husband are getting older. We need looking after too.
