What are those stars above your username when you respond to someone? (those coloured stars with a number on it)

Keep posting and Keep rating people You will get your star and your rating Don't worry if the rating isn't too high to start Just make relevant posts and you will keep it in the top levels

Once you get to 100 you will get a star it is your mylot ranking when you post or respond people can rate you so the higher the number in the star the better good luck to you on reaching 100 so you can get a star next to your name

Those stars are your user rating there are three buttons by all of your posts a + - and! to rate you positive, negative or turn you in for abuse. The more postives you get the higher your star will be the more negatives you get the lower your star. You will receive your star when you get to 100 posts. So keep posting and you will be seeing the stars before you know it.

Thank you for explaining this to me. I'd wondered the same thing myself and thought I'd do the right thing and search for existing answers to this question before posting a brand new thread. This explains much to me. I'll work on getting up to 100 and see what happens :)
