Sock fights

When you were growing up did you use to have sock fights with your odd socks. We use to ball them up and have huge sock fights...use sheilds and run around the house and chase each other with the socks. No rules what so ever...just throw and hit or miss...it was awesome...I miss being a kid. It doesn't seem as fun when you are an adult cause we have tried...Not as fun, I don't know why.

We use to roll them up or ball them up to and try to hit each other with them LOL. We also had some pillow fights. Sock and pillow fights are no longer fun when we grow up for some reason. I guess because we have to run and are very tired from a hard days work.

I think our enjoyments in life change as we grow older, especially if we have children. It is their turn for the sock fights and we are supposed to act like adults LOL.

Wow, I never even thought about doing this when I was a kid but it's a good idea. Not really any chance of getting hurt or anything which is definitely a plus. Too many things for kids to get hurt with today.

For sure. And it is great exercise for those rainy days when they can't get out and play!!!!

I never did that, my mom would have had a spaz, she was a clean freak. I have an idea on why it might not be as fun as an adult as it is when you were a kid. You have that little voice in the back of your head saying to you MAG STOP IT, YOUR GOING TO BREAK SOMETHING now LOL!! That would be what would happen with me anyways! *giggles*

No, never did that. But, thank you, you have given me an idea of what to play with my kids that won't break anything in the house. This sounds like a game where they can get some of their energy as well as boy crazies out on each other, safely.

LOL for sure it was awesome. Nothing ever got broken and no one would ever get hurt it was a blast you sound like you don't mind moving furniture...put tables on ends or build 2 small forts and they take sides...they can hold all the socks on one side or they can just start beaming them at each other...as much fun as a snow fight with out the ouch factor!
