Want to know who is currently registered to facebook? How useful has it been for you in catching up with old friends or making new friends? Or are most of your friends just online friends? What was it like when you caught up with an old friend you haven't seen in years?
I love facebook, I have been able to catch up with friends I have not seen in ages. Without Facebook I might never have caught up with them again. For instance I caught up with my old childhood friends when I was 10 years old, we used to play everyday out on the street. She was my neighbour. Now 20 years later I was able to catch up with her, found out she lives nearby me, what a coincidence. Now we regularly see each other again. It is like nothing has changed. Also I can now talk to relatives and cousins overseas that I do not usually catch up with. I am astounded by how many people are on facebook. It is awesome.

Facebook is the only site that I truly love going on every time, and it's a great way to stay in touch with friends, as well as meeting new people. The new applications have become slightly tedious, but a lot of them are pretty amusing and fun to play around with, such as the Texas Hold 'em Poker. You don't play with real money, but I'd probably end up regretting that if it was so anyway!
Overall, I think facebook is the superior site of its kind.
