Sleep

Do you feel tired if you get to much sleep? I personally run well on 8hours of sleep. If I get more I still feel really tired and if I get less I feel really tired. But I know people that get the opposite....if they get a little sleep they get more hyper. How much sleep do you need to function well? Do you do better on more or less?

Yes I do get tired if I have too much sleep. I need on average about 8 hours slep a night. Any more of less then that then I am tired for the day. I find if I sleep too much then I am really lethargic that day and have no motivation to do anything.

Yeah the way you describe it sounds about like me. If I get more then 8 hours I feel as if I need to just keep on sleeping the rest of the day.....I definatly know what you mean about the no motivation part.

I function best on about 6 hours. More than that and I feel groggy all day. Sometimes I'm ok on 4 hours but it depends on the day I had before. Since I take pain pills for my ankle at nite, they only last about 4-6 hours so I don't usually sleep much past 6 hours unless I'm really worn out.

If I were to get 4-6 hours of sleep I'd probably be a little grumpy the first day but the second or third day I would be a miserable person to be around.LOL. But isn't it strange how everyone functions different when it comes to sleep?
