I think my kid was born 25 years too late!!

My youngest child loves music. More specificly, 80's rock and classic rock. I have noticed some of the new bands are going back to a more classic sound. Anyone else have kids who love older music? I think it's cool.... My kid likes the stuff I listen to. And I like some of the new stuff he has played for me. Does anyone out there listen to the new stuff the kids like?

No, I don't have kids like that, I am one of those kids. I'm 33, but growing up my mom always said I was antiquated and was born in the wrong decade (and the wrong color, but that's another topic) I love the older music before me. Especially when I'm cleaning. That music had so much energy and was natural.

Well, I like some of the stuff from the 60's even though I was born at the tail end of them. As far as I am concerned, music has no color, you either like it or you don't. If color had anything to do with it, John Mayer would be the wrong color!!

My daughters 8 years old, and has already been tto a Bon Jovi concert with me and my wife.. Ohh , the flip side is that she also has seen Hannah Montana.
Bon Jovi was cheaper.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, would you adopt me? I'd love to see Bon Jovi in concert. Have wanted to since I was in high school 25 years ago!!! Lucky kid there!!! I'd only want to see Miley Cyrus if her dad was there though!! Think you'd have to pay me to go to that one otherwise.

My daughter will be 16 next month ans hse likes to listen to the music that me and her dad listens to as well, but she also like that hip hop rap music too. she knows the words to our songs and I don't even know half of them. I listen to some of my daughters music also but not all of it. It gives me a headache and I can't think straight LOL.
