sometimes do you feel a little embarassed when you are still sigle?

i alwalys feel embarassed when my friends asked me: do you have gf? because i do not have,which sometimes made me even lose confidence, but i donot want to have a girl which i donnot love as my gf,i want to wait ,but i am 23 year old...how can i make a balance?

You shouldn't go out and get a girlfriend just for the fact that you can say you have one. There is nothing wrong with being single. Theres no need to be embarassed. I have been single for about two years now and honestly I love it. My last serious relationship ended really bad. I dated since than but nothing seems to work out. I become bored. I just really like being single much better. I have no one to answer to. ANd can do whatever I want whenever I want to.

just like you, my last serious relationship ended really bad,and it took me a long time to recover.now i am very careful with relationship.last semester i dated with several girls but nothing seems to work out,but made me even boring.i think i should make myself calm down and not to rush to have a relationship with someone.just let everything goes like nature,anyway,thank you for your response

There is no need for you to be embarassed.You are young!
you can offer to wait for the right one.
