How often you polish your leather shoes??? The practice of shining and polishing shoes has been around since the invention of foot coverings. Shining not only gives shoes an appealing glossy finish, but also preserves their workmanship and quality by moisturizing the leather, adding years to their life. Left untreated, leathers dry, crack, and fall.. Do you have the habit of polishing your shoes???

Of course. I use to polish my shoes daily when I leave for my work place. I could not get out of my home with out polishing the shoe. Nasty or dusty shoe degrade the personality, so I take special care to not leave home for my office or some important place without polish less shoe. Polish is good for the health of leather of shoe. It is informative for me. But I polish them for good looking purpose.

I must admit, I don't shine my shoes as often as I should. When I worked outside the home I usually did this weekly but since I work from home I tend to wear nothing but tennis shoes and throw them in the washer as needed. I should get my good shoes out and shine them up.

Not often enough I have to admit! I tend to only give my shoes a good polishing if I have an interview for a job or I am going somewhere special, otherwise I don't bother, it is a good habit to get into, as good shoes make a person look smart and confident in a way and yes if they go untreated they don't last as long and look awful.
