I love the movies, my favourite would have to be the 2nd part :) Not sure why but it just appealed to me more - could be the cool trees maybe!
We bought the 3 movies on DVD as soon as we could get hold of all 3, then i watched them on a regular basis over & over :)
I haven't watched them for a little while now but only because my daughter would rather watch her catroon movies!
They're really great movies though & the director should be very proud of himself for doing such a good job. I convinced myself i wouldn't like them but was proved very wrong when they aired the original - fellowship of the ring - on TV. I LOVED it & had to get all 3 on DVD right away!

I like the movies and for god's sake, they are all blockbusters! One thing i don't like about them though is that i was not able to read the books before watching them. Most of the book-based films shown, i read the book before watching them so i can appreciate and critic on them. Anyway, they are still great!

I have seen all three of the movies in this great trilogy. I love the fantacy it potrays. The fact that these three movies were taped all at the same time makes the movie even better. Since it was all taped together the actors stayed all the same and they did not age prematurly. This movie has great computer animation as well. The whole trilogy was well writen and acted. I liked the movies so much I bought them all on dvd. I bought the short vertion and then the collectors extented versions as well. These movies are enjoyed by the whole family. We will sit and have a movie night where we make popcorn and sit and watch all three movies. I have not found a movie to date that can match the action and costumes or even story lines of Lord of the Rings. My favorit charactor is Erogorn. He is a brooding but heroic man indeed. I wish they would find another script that could equal the writing of this one but I am sure it will be a long time before we see a movie with this kind of story and action.

Gosh I saw all three movies theatrical releases, and I saw all three extended versions. I liked the extended versions better. I was disappointed that the Scouring of the Shire was missing among a few other things, but I still say these are the greatest movies about these books ever made! I am in awe of the realness of it! I will not say how many times I have watched them, but I will say that I have not seen them lately!

I'm from New Zealand and the made was made here, so everyone in NZ would had seem the movie. I have seem all three of the parts. However the first part of the movies was the most interesting part to me. Second part of the movie was a little boring, actually I was not interested in the 2nd part at all. There was not much of a story line, It was just about gathering an army. War doesn't interest me at all

I absolutely love love love these movies. The plot was excellent, the special effects even better, characters were outstanding. I put it right up there with the all time best. I hear they are making a prequel...can't wait for that to come out!

I have seen all three in the theatures and own the extented directors cut versions. Every once in a while I pull them out and watch them again. My husband rolls his eyes, but he likes them too. I also collected the movie memorabilia. I read the books when I was little and was excited when they finally made a good movie. (Yes, I have also seen the cartoon versions which I thought were good when I was a kid)

I've watched all of them. I personnaly liked the second one "Two Towers" I guess. Because its funny and I like Legolas and the other guy where they complete on which of them will kill the most enemies.
