i have been looking for some thing to help my hair grow. its not short. but i would like it to be a little longer.
does anyone know of anything that is proven to actual help your hair grow. normally i just braid it up and that helps it grow for a while, thats how i have gotten it this far.
when my hair was short i could tell it 2 weeks that it had grown, and needed a trim, but now that it is longer i dont see ant results.
any suggestions on some thing that will help my hair grow.

I have heard that combing your hair often and washing your hair everyday will make your hair grow faster.

hi drkimble!
if you want more hair (that is number of pieces,) try the fresh aloe vera. just rub the juicy flesh on your scalp.
but if you want your hair to grow faster, i think it would be best to trim your hair every six weeks. the rationale for this is that, when your hair grows, they grow in varying lengths. when you trim them to make them one length, they will try to outgrow each other. that's what they say. i dunno if it's an old wives tale, but it works for me.
also, use a conditioner. then dry your hair everyday and brush it three times a day. i think that's about it. oh, hot oil in the parlor twice a month. :-)
hope that helps you! take care! God bless!
